Council debates Gloucester future

Plans to help Gloucester City find a new ground are due to be debated by the city council on Thursday.

The Tigers have been homeless since their ground at Meadow Park was badly damaged during last year's floods and the pitch has now become overgrown.

Councillor Jeremy Hilton will forward a motion calling on the council to allocate a new site in the city to help safeguard the club's future.

Gloucester play in Cirencester and have so far failed to find a new site.
