Gloucester v Northampton

Gloucester's Iain Balshaw will switch from the wing to full-back to cover for Olly Morgan who has a hamstring tweak.

Dave Lewis keeps out Rory Lawson at scrum-half, and Carlos Nieto and Marco Bortolami return to the pack in place of Jack Forster and Alex Brown.

Northampton make three changes to the team that started last week's 28-28 draw with Bath.

Euan Murray, Christian Day and Mark Hopley replace Barry Stewart, Juandre Kruger and Joe Gray.

Gloucester: Balshaw; Watkins, Tindall (capt), Allen, Vainikolo; Lamb, Lewis; Wood, Azam, Nieto, James, Bortolami, Buxton, Strokosch, Narraway. Replacements: Lawson, Dickinson, Eustace, Satala, Lawson, Barkley, Walker.

Northampton: Myler, Ashton, Reihana (capt), Downey, Diggin, Spencer, Foden; Smith, Gray, Murray, I Fernandez Lobbe, Day, Easter, Gray, Wilson. Replacements: Shields, Stewart, Tonga'uiha, Rae, Hopley, Dickson, Mordt.

Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

"Saints are a good side. They've got some outstanding players and they're a much more collective group than they've been in the past.

"They are capable - with players like Spencer and Reihana - of doing a lot of damage at this level, [so] we've got to be very aware of their threat and at the same time hopefully illustrate the level we can play at."
