Jonathon Faamatuainu's late try earned Bath a draw as Northampton came from behind to extend their 18-month unbeaten home run. Butch James had put Bath 6-0 up before Paul Diggins went over for Northampton. Jack Cuthbert and Daniel Browne put Bath on top at half-time but Mark Easter's try closed the gap. Stephen Myler's drop-goal put Saints in the lead for the first time before Soane Tonga'uiha's try extended it only for Faamatuainu to deny Saints victory.
Northampton director of rugby Jim Mallinder: "I was disappointed with our defence in the first half. "We conceded a couple of relatively weak tries but we knew - and we said at half-time - that if we kept playing the spaces would appear. "I was delighted with our second half. We attacked with pace and moved the ball well. Another day, we'd have won." Bath coach Steve Meehan: "At half-time we'd put ourselves in a position to get four points but we let them have too much ball. "But in all your Premiership matches, if you went away and came home with two points you'd probably be happy by the end of the season. "We had one try-scoring chance in the second half and took it but we've got to give ourselves more than that." Northampton: Myler, Ashton, Reihana, Downey, Diggin, Spencer, Foden, Smith, J.
