Parker joined the Pilgrims from Gainsborough Trinity in May
Boston United defender Wes Parker hopes the Pilgrims can transfer their good cup form to the league.
The Unibond Premier side won 4-2 at Clitheroe in the FA Trophy second qualifying round on Saturday - their fifth cup win of the season.
However they are only 16th in their division and Parker said: "Everyone's disappointed with the league form.
"Personally, I would change all these cup wins for league wins because we really need to start kicking on."
He added: "We need to prove we are a good team in the league."
Parker scored Boston's first goal at Clitheroe with his brother Liam also scoring along, with Jon Rowan who got two.
Liam Parker is also hoping the league form will pick up soon, and told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We've got a lot of games to catch up, but we need to pick up as many points as possible.
"If we win our games in hand we've still got a good chance. Let's just hope we can do that."
The Parker brothers also revealed that their team-mates have nicknamed them the 'Chuckle Brothers'.
Liam added: "I think it was [manager] Tommy Taylor who came up with that, so it's just good the Chuckle Brothers could both score."
Boston now face a trip to FC United of Manchester in the third qualifying round on Sunday, 23 November.
Meanwhile, Stamford are out of the FA Trophy despite putting up a battle against Unibond Premier Division leaders Hednesford town, with Dan Cotton netting a hat-trick as the Daniels went down 4-3.
In the First Division South Danny Hargreaves' first-half goal gave Grantham Town their fourth consecutive victory as they beat Rushall Olympic 1-0 at the Meres, and Luke Kennedy was on target for Spalding United in their 2-1 defeat at home by Shepshed Dynamo.
