Whild feels his side was guilty of missing too many chances
Redditch United picked up their second away win in eight days when Sam Foley netted in the 1-0 Blue Square North victory at Stafford Rangers.
But Reds manager Gary Whild said that the margin of victory could and should have been greater.
"We deserved to win away again today, but we made it difficult for ourselves in the last 10 minutes," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We didn't take our chances which would have made it a bit more comfortable."
Foley grabbed the decisive goal on 39 minutes and he would have been relieved as he was one of those guilty of missing a good chance.
Ten minutes before he put the Reds ahead, Foley had been put through one-on-one with the home team's keeper Tim Sandercombe, but he was unable to find the net.
The visitors' failure to take their opportunities led to a nervous final 15 minutes but Gary Whild felt there were plenty of positives to take from this performance.
"It would have made it a lot easier in the closing stages if we had got a second, but the good thing is that we are creating a lot of chances," he said.
"We look as though we have got goals in us as a team and obviously that's good."
