AFC Telford's Terry Fearns is aiming for promotion this season after scoring a hat-trick on his home Blue Square North debut on Tuesday.

"I never set targets, but there are quality people around me who'll make me chances and I've got to put them away," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"People say I'm prolific but I just do the best I can every game."

Fearns moved from Droylesden in the summer, and showed his intentions with three goals that beat Hinckley 4-2.

"[Manager] Rob Smith really wants to go for the league title this season, and those ambitions fit exactly with mine," he added.
