Rowan began his career at Grimsby Town

Boston United midfielder Jon Rowan has agreed a one-year deal at York Street while defender Ryan Clarke has rejoined the club.

Rowan, 26, joined the Blue Square North side from neighbours Boston Town in October and was the Pilgrims' player of the year, scoring 10 goals.

Clarke, 24, has moved from Worcester City for a second spell at the club.

Defender Simon Weaver has joined the Pilgrims' newly-promoted neighbours King's Lynn after rejecting a new deal.
