Eastbourne Borough coach Nick Greenwood is confident his side can overcome Hampton & Richmond and clinch a place in the Blue Square Premier.

The two sides meet in the Blue Square South play-off final on Thursday.

Boro lost their last final, against Altrincham in 2005, but Greenwood told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "We are more experienced now.

"We have players who have been there. We are better equipped to deal with the night and hopefully we will perform."

One of those experienced players is defender Marc Pullan, who won the Dr Martens League with Crawley, only to be released that summer.

He said: "If we all turn up and play well, we will win - simple as that! I have never played at Premier level even though I got promoted. I'm at the stage of my career where I'd like to give it a go."
