Redditch United suffered a final-day mauling as they went down 6-0 in their Blue Square North match at promotion-hopefuls Stalybridge Celtic.

The Reds included injured players on the bench and the difference soon told as Steve Payne and James Dean gave Celtic a 2-0 interval lead.

Lee Ellington netted twice in the second half, while substitute Steve Torpey was also on target.

James Dean also completed a brace as Gary Whild's side was well beaten.
