Redditch United player-coach Carl Heggs believes his side will surprise the other clubs in the Blue Square North next season.

With two games left Redditch are set to finish the season in mid-table.

Heggs told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I expect us to build on what we've done this season and move forward again.

"I have no doubt that next season we'll be even stronger and with a couple of players coming in and a couple going we'll surprise a lot of people."

Redditch play their final home game of the season when they take on league champions Kettering at Valley Stadium on Tuesday.
