Redditch United held Alfreton Town to a goalless draw in the Blue Square North after finishing the game with 10 men at the Impact Arena.

The Reds had looked the more likely side to win the game until midfielder Howard Forinton received a red card in the second half.

Redditch regrouped and worked hard to ensure they came away with a point.

The Reds will round off their home programme on Tuesday when they will host champions Kettering Town.
