Barrow kept their Blue Square North promotion hopes alive after hammering Redditch United 5-0.

The kick-off was delayed at the Valley Stadium by heavy rain, and once play started the Reds had no answer to Barrow's attack.

Andrew Bond put the Cumbrians ahead after 10 minutes and Nick Rogan doubled the advantage before half-time.

Goals from Jason Walker, a second from Rogan and a late penalty from Paul Jones sealed victory for the visitors.
