 Owers had spent 15 months in charge of Forest Green | Conference South side Weston-super-Mare have appointed former Forest Green Rovers and Bath City boss Gary Owers as caretaker manager. The 38-year-old will be in charge for the rest of the season following Frank Gregan's move from first-team manager to take a place on the club's board. Owers had a previous spell as a player with both Weston and Forest Green. He he spent just over a year as Forest Green manager before being replaced by Jimmy Harvey earlier this season.
