Celtic will play FC Basel of Switzerland in the Champions League third qualifying round after the Swiss beat MSK Zilina of Slovakia in the second round.

The sides drew 1-1 in Slovakia a week ago and the Swiss champions wrapped up the tie on Wednesday with a 3-0 victory.

The home side all but put the tie beyond the Slovaks in the first half with goals by Christian Giminez and Murat Yakin.

Giminez added a third in the second half in front of the watching Celtic manager Martin O'Neill.

O'Neill's side now face Basel in the first leg of the third qualifying round in a week's time, with the second leg a fortnight later, for a place in the group stages of the competition.
