| Libyans up in arms ![]() Saad Gaddafi was missing from the Libyan party Group 9: Swaziland v Libya Fireworks have already started before Libya's qualifier against Swaziland at Somhlolo stadium. Libyan players held a roadside protest after they were forced to travel for more than an hour on Wednesday to their hotel, allocated by Swazi officials. The Libyan team also arrived in two groups because of the small size of the plane that services Johannesburg and Matsapa airport. Conspicuous by his absence from the playing group was Saad Gaddafi. Gaddafi, son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is president of the Libyan Football Association and part-time international player. Libyan coach Francesco Scoglio, who was dismissed and the reinstated following a row after Gaddafi's selection for the national side, refused to comment.
