Nigeria under-17 coach John Obuh
Coach John Obuh has lead Nigeria to the final of the Under-17 World Cup.

Hosts and defending champions Nigeria eased into the final of the Under-17 World Cup with a 3-1 win over Spain in Thursday's semi-final in Lagos.

Heartland's Stanley Okoro scored to give coach John Obuh's Golden Eaglets the lead on the half-hour mark.

Sani Emmanuel then came on as a substitute and scored a brace in the second-half and set up a meeting with Switzerland in Sunday's final in Abuja.

Borja grabbed a consolation for the Spanish with seven minutes left in the game.

Switzerland beat 10-man Colombia 3-0 in the other semi-final on Thursday, also played in Lagos, to clinch their place in the final.

Nassim Ben Khalifa opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 14th minute after a hand ball from Colombia's Santiago Arias, who was then sent off.

Haris Seferovic added a second for the Swiss on 36 minutes, Bruno Martignoni and Ricardo Rodriguez completed the scoring with goals in the second-half.

Colombia will now face Spain in the third place play-off that will also be played in Abuja on Sunday.
