Both Confederation Cup semi-final first-leg matches this weekend ended in draws, with Entente Setif and Stade Malien scoring vital away goals.
Enppi was held to a 2-2 draw by Stade Malien in Egypt.
Malien's Osman Bagayoko broke the deadlock halfway through the first half.
Enppi made attack after attack on their visitor's goal, but strikers Ahmed Raouf, Ahmed al-Muhammadi and Ivorian Zeka Goore missed several chances.
Their first goal came from Adel Mostapha who equalised from the penalty spot four minutes before half time.
Seven minutes into the second half, Al-Muhammadi finally came good, striking a superb curled shot into the net.
But Stade hit back midway through the second half thanks to a blunder by Egyptian goalkeeper Amer Mohamed.
He allowed a Bakary Coulibaly shot from a virtually impossible angle to slip through his hands into the net.
In the other semi-final, Algeria's Entente Setif grabbed a draw away from home against Nigeria's Bayelsa United.
The Nigerian champions took the lead through Martins Ojobo after 69 minutes.
Entente's vital away goal was scored by Abdelmalik Ziaya from the penalty spot with 10 minutes left in the game.
Ziaya has now scored 12 goals in this year's Confederation Cup.
Entente Setif and Stade Malien take their turn as hosts against Bayelsa and Enppi for the second legs in two weeks time.
