South Africa were beaten 4-0 by Hungary in Group F at the Under-20 World Cup in Egypt on Wednesday.

Hungary goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi made several good saves in the first half as South Africa started the game well.

Zsolt Korcsmar opened the scoring just after half-time before Vladimir Koman converted a penalty following a foul by Collen Zulu.

Andras Debreceni added a third before an Adam Presinger free-kick in injury time sealed the rout for Hungary.

South Africa have just a single point from their two games so far, while Hungary move to three points.

In the Group's other game United Arab Emirates beat Honduras 1-0 to qualify to the knockout stage of the tournament.

In Saturday's final games, South Africa take on Honduras while the UAE will play Hungary.
