Cameroon lost 4-1 to the USA at the Under-20 World Cup
Cameroon have been thrashed 4-1 by the USA in their Group C game at the Under-20 World Cup in Egypt on Tuesday.
The USA opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time through Germany-based Bryan Arguez.
Tony Taylor and then Dilly Duka then scored in the second-half before Banana Yaya scored from the penalty spot to pull a goal back for Cameroon.
Brian Ownby then sealed the win for the USA with a goal in injury time at the end of the match.
In the other Group C game Germany and South Korea drew 1-1.
Richard Sukuta-Pasu gave Germany the lead after going past three defenders to beat Korean keeper Kim Seung-gyu in the 33rd minute.
German goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler stopped two good efforts from Park Hee-seong in the second half.
But it was a mistake from the 71st minute from the Manchester United reserve keeper that cost his country the win.
Zieler knelt down to stop a weak shot from Kim but the ball rolled past him and into the goal.
The results mean that Germany top the group with four points from their two games, the USA and Cameroon are both a point behind and South Korea bottom of the table with just one point.
The final games in the group are on Friday as Cameroon play Germany and USA take on South Korea.
