Pfister fumes at Cup organisation
Otto Pfista
Pfista described Caf's organisation as "a total catastrophe".
Cameroon coach Otto Pfister has heavily criticised the Africa Cup of Nations' organisers for the way his team has been treated at the tournament.

Pfister vented his fury at the standard of accommodation and lack of privacy Cameroon have been offered at training.

"One team (Ghana) are in a five-star hotel - we're in a trailer," he said.

"I asked 10 times: 'Please, I need one training session without spectators', but no, there are always thousands of people around us."

The German's outburst followed his side's 3-0 victory over Sudan, which booked the Indomitable Lions a place in the quarter-finals as Group C runners-up behind Egypt.

606: DEBATE

"I coached Ghana for five years, everybody knows me here, people like me," he said.

"But it's not correct that the host team is in a five-star hotel. How can you have Ghana and Cameroon in completely different conditions? This isn't correct.

"I came to my room and it was not clean and after two hours it was still not clean."

Earlier on Thursday, 70-year-old Pfister had vented his anger at the Confederation of African Football (Caf) after Cameroon's luggage failed to arrive in Tamale with the team.

"It's a total catastrophe," he said of Caf's organisation.

"We left Kumasi on Tuesday and they told us a helicopter would follow with our bags.

"We arrive here and we don't have any shirts or balls. Our hotel rooms weren't ready. We had to wait three hours in the foyer and our meal was served very late.

"On Monday in Kumasi we wanted to eat at lunch, but the owner of the hotel had forgotten to hand over the keys to the kitchen.

"Every day there's something. Remember, we've got several world stars in the squad - it's really hard trying to keep up the team's morale."
