Senegal captain Lamine Diatta has quit Turkish giants, Besiktas.
The 32-year-old reached a financial agreement with the club to terminate his contract.
"I wanted to leave for personal reasons," the 32-year-old said.
"Besiktas were open to discussion and we reached a financial agreement."
The former Lyon and Marseille defender signed a two-year contract worth three million dollars in August last year.
After spending a few days with his family near Bordeaux, Diatta will join Senegal's national team next week to prepare for the African Nations Cup which runs from 20 January to 10 February in Ghana.
