Moroccan striker Mustapha Hadji has scored his first goal for Spanish side Espanyol when he added his name in the score sheet two minutes before half-time as they beat Celta Vigo 5-1.
Two Cameroonians were also on target. Pierre Achille Webo scored for the second week in a row for Osasuna who drew 1-1 with Real Sociedad.
And Samuel Eto'o Fils pulled a second late goal for Real Mallorca in the 90th minute but his side could not force an equaliser as they lost 3-2 to Barcelona.

Burkinabe striker Moumouni Dagano scored his sixth goal for Guingamp who lost 3-1 to Monaco despite taking the lead.
Senegalese midfielder Pape Bouba Diop and his Nigerian team mate John Utaka both scored the goals to give their Lens a 2-0 win away at Metz. Diop scored the second goal for Lens from the penalty spot.
Cameroon's Achille Emana scored the winning goal for Toulouse in the 14th minute as they beat Montpellier 1-0. It was his second of the season.
Tunisia's Brazilian-born striker Francileudo dos Santos scored his 11th of the season when he equalised for Sochaux who drew 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain.
And two out of the five goals in the game between Bastia and Marseille were Africans. Ivorian Didier Drogba scored a consolation goal for Marseille who lost 4-1 to Bastia. Nigerian Barthalomew Ogbeche had made it 4-0 for Bastia in the 55th minute.
Belgium South African Ntuka Pule scored the only goal of the game 10 minutes before the end as his side Westerlo defeated Heusden Zolder. It was Pule's first league goal.
The Ivorian Romaric Ndri has become the latest scoring sensation for his Beveren as he scored the lone goal of the match against Charleroi.
Sierra Leone's Paul Kpaka scored five minutes from time for Genk but his side lost 2-1 to Lokeren.
Hamad Ndikumana from Rwanda had equalised for Gent in the 68th minute but his side lost 2-1 to Mouscron.
And Guinean striker Sembegou Bangoura scored one of the goals as his side standard Liege defeated Antwerp 3-0.
Turkey Egyptian Ramadan Ragap scored twice including the winner as his side Ankaragucu beat Istanbulspor 3-2.
Switzerland Togolese forward Mohamed Abdelkader scored the lone goal winner for his side Servette who beat Aarau.
