This could be Okocha's year for awards |
George Weah and Jay-Jay Okocha have described their inclusion in Pele's Fifa 100 list as a great achievement. The two players are among five Africans included in the Brazilian great's top 100 living players which was unveiled yesterday as part of activities marking the centenary of Fifa this year.

Okocha and Weah were the only two present yesterday in London to take part in the ceremony. "I feel honoured. It's the greatest achievement for me so far," said Okocha.
"When you look at the great players Africa has produced, and for me to be among this list, I feel very proud of myself.
"I'm having a great year, and I hope it'll continue. It's been beyond my wildest dreams."
The Nigeria skipper is also in contention for the 2003 African Footballer of the Year award which will be announced in the Cameroon capital Yaounde next month.
Okocha also picked up the BBC's African Footballer of the Year award at a ceremony in Tunis during the Nations Cup tournament.
Liberian legend George Weah was equally pleased with his name appearing in the list alongside Ghana's Abedi Pele, Roger Milla of Cameroon and El Hadji Diouf of Senegal.
"It's the greatest honour to be picked by the king of kings, Pele," Weah told BBC Sport.
"I am very grateful. I'm happy for Liberia and I am happy for Africa."
