A round-up of the African goalscorers in Europe.


Netherlands

Boukhari is a top scorer for Breda

Moroccans were the most prolific African scorers in the Dutch league over the weekend.

Striker Adil Ramzi has scored for the second time in the month for his side FC Twente Enschede when he equalised in the 14th minute but his side were 5-2 losers to mid-table NEC Nijmegen.

Ramzi's contract with FC Twente, who are sixth in the table, ends this season.

Zico Tumba of the Democratic Republic of Congo scored one of the goals for Nijmegen.

Two other Moroccans were in the score sheet for NAC Breda who beat FC Zwolle 3-1.

They are Nourdin Boukhari and Ali Boussaboun, who put Breda 2-0 ahead within the space of four minutes earlier in the first-half.

And the fourth Moroccan on target Said Boutahar opened the score for RKC Waalwijk who drew 1-1 with Willem II Tilburg.

Elsewhere, South African midfielder Steven Pienaar scored his third goal of the league for Ajax when he hit home the last of the game as the Dutch league leaders beat Roda JC Kerkrade 4-2.


Portugal

McCarthy is contender for Portuguese golden boot

South African striker Benni McCarthy is now joint top scorer with 17 goals after scoring the lone goal winner for his side FC Porto who beat Boavista.

Porto now have a 10 point lead ahead of rivals Sporting Lisbon. Mozambican defender Sergio Lomba scored his first this season with a 39th minute opener for Moreirense who defeated Academica Coimbra 3-0.

Ibrahima Injai from Guinea Bissau scored for the second weekend running with a late consolation goal for his side Estrela Amadora who lost 4-1 to Rio Ave.


Spain

Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o Fils was involved in the big win for his side Real Mallorca as they defeated title contenders Deportivo la Coruna 4-2.

Eto'o scored the third goal for Mallorca in the 59th minute to take his season's league tally to 10 goals in 23 games, but Mallorca are fourth from bottom and hoping to avoid relegation.


France

Santos has scored a dozen times for Sochaux this season

Beninois striker Oumar Tchomogo has scored his first goal of the French season when he equalised for Guingamp who defeated Montpellier 4-3.

Tunisian international, the Brazilian-born Francileudo dos Santos, has hit his dozen as he came face to face with other Brazilians who play for second-placed Lyon.

Santos scored his 12th goal of the season for Sochaux when he equalised for his side in the first-half but after 90 minutes the Lyon Brazilians turned out as the victors, winning 2-1.

Ivorian striker Didier Drogba scored his 17th goal when he blasted from the penalty spot for sixth placed Marseille who beat Strasbourg 4-0.

It was Drogba's third goal from the penalty spot this season and the Ivorian is now the French's league second top scorer - trailing Auxerre's Djibril Cisse by just one goal.

Turkey

Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Kamal scored twice for Besiktas including one in the last minute as his side beat Elazigspor 5-3. The win puts Besiktas three points behind league leaders Fenerbahce.


Belgium

Guinean midfielder Ousmane Ngom Camara received a rare sending off playing for his new side, relegation threatened Heusden-Zolder.

Heusden-Zolder lost 3-2 in a home game against Lokeren after taking a 2-0 lead.

Lokeren's Burkinabe Aristide Bance had pulled a goal back for Lokeren 10 minutes inside the second-half.

Nigerian Tosin Dosunmu was on target for fifth placed Westerlo who struggled to make a comeback but lost 3-2 to second of the table Club Brugge.


Greece

Liberia's Oliver Makor gave Ionikos a 65th minute lead but his side drew 1-1 with Aris Salonika. Makor's side are in 11th position in the 16-team Greek league.
