England

Joseph-Desire Job
Job gave Middlesbrough their first win

Cameroon's Joseph-Desire Job secured Middlesbrough their first win of the season.

His early strike proved enough to earn a 1-0 win over Everton.


Belgium

Guinean Mohamed Camara of Germinal Beerschot was involved in the demolition of Antwerp by scoring the first goal in their 4-0 win.

Nigeria's Tosin Dosumnu scored for the second successive weekend, as his side Westerlo lost 5-1 to league leaders Anderlecht. The Ivorian Aruna Dindane scored one of Anderlecht's goals.

Another Ivorian Lezou Doba scored for Lokeren but his side lost 2-1 to Lierse.

Beveren's Burkinabe striker Moussa Sanogo scored both goals in their 2-0 win over Heusden-Zolder, while Nigeria's Manasseh Ishiaku of Nigeria scored in La Louviere's 2-1 defeat to Mouscron.

Charleroi had two African players sent-off: Sierra Leonean defender Ibrahim Kargbo and Burkinabe midfielder Mahamoudou Kere were both shown the red card in the last 18 minutes of the game.

Charleroi still managed to hold on to a 1-1 draw with KAA Gent.


France

New Togolese signing Emmanuel Adebayor is becoming an important player at Monaco, scoring another goal for his side as they beat Montpellier 2-1.

The other African goal was by Algeria's Abdelmalek Cherrad, whose double gave Nice a 2-0 win over Lille.


Holland

There were plenty of Moroccan goals in Holland. Noureddine Boukhari scored for NAC Breda in their 4-2 win over his former club Ajax, while compatriot Ali El Khattabi was on target in AZ Alkmaar's 3-1 win over Heerenveen.

Dutch-born Moroccan Said Boutahar also scored for RKC Waalwijk before they lost 2-1 to FC Twente.

Cameroonian Emile Mbamba scored for Vitesse Arnhem but Ivorian Aruna Kone equalised for Roda JC before half-time to force a 1-1 draw.

South Africa were also represented on the scoring sheet, as Glen Salmon scored in Groningen's 1-1 draw with Utrecht.


Germany

Noureddine Naybet
Naybet has been at Deportivo for several years

Cameroon's Mohamadou Idrissou was on target for Hannover 96 as they beat Borussia Monchengladbach.

Idrissou scored seven minutes from time in a 2-0 win.


Spain

Moroccan captain Noureddine Naybet scored for Deportivo la Coruna, as they made a strong second-half showing to beat Albacete 3-0.


Italy

Senegalese striker Diomansy Camara scored a lovely goal for Modena in their 1-1 draw with Ancona.

He controlled a long pass inside the box and chipped the ball over the goalkeeper before slotting it home.


Sweden

Ghana's Derrick Boateng scored the first goal of the game for his new side AIK Solna as they beat Elfsborg 4-0.
