Pasculli was not told of Libya's visit |
Libya is camping in Uganda before travelling to Botswana for a Nations Cup qualifying tie.
The team, led by coach by Abu Bakr Bany and FA vice -president Al-Saadi Gaddafi, arrived in Kampala on Sunday and trained at the Namboole stadium the following day.
An away win for Libya would brighten their chances of participating in their first Nations Cup tournament since 1982.
"We thought by coming around and having workouts with Uganda it will help us more," Bany said.
Uganda are to play a closed door match with the north Africans on Tuesday night.
"I did not know about this abrupt plan to train with the Libyans," said Uganda's Argentine coach Pablo Pasculli.
But we are ready to have them around and hope the two teams will all benefit," said Pasculli, who recently took over the national side.
Uganda top their qualifying group and face Rwanda in a do-or-die tie on 7 June in Kampala.
