St Paul's thump Grouville to remain unbeaten in league
Title-holders St Paul's beat Grouville 4-0 to remain unbeaten in the Jersey Premiership this season.
Three late goals secured the win after former Grouville striker Bradley Russell opened the scoring against his old club with a dipping half-volley.
Craig Russell, Luke Watson and Craig Leitch all netted in the final ten minutes to wrap up the win.
The result keeps Martin Cassidy's side six points clear at the top of the league table.
Cassidy told BBC Jersey: "The players worked hard and created a lot of good chances.
"I wasn't expecting a dazzling performance, but I certainly got a great team effort.
"We had four or five players playing out of position. They all did a job for the team so I'm really pleased our first game of the year has kicked off like that."
In the only other Premiership match played on Saturday in the island, St Peter beat Jersey Wanderers 2-1.
The game between St Clement and St Ouen was postponed.
