Jersey now have 11 wins to Guernsey's 12 in the under-21 series
The Ambassadeur Bowl remains in Jersey after first-half goals from Barry Keith and Tim de la Haye gave them a hard-fought 2-1 win over Guernsey.
Keith nodded in a pin-point cross from close range, while de la Haye headed in a corner to make it 2-0 on 36 minutes.
Guernsey responded just three minutes later when Scott Bougard converted Nigel Hutton's cross.
Both sides had chances in the second half, but on a very slippery pitch, Jersey clung on to their narrow lead.
"We've had very limited preparation," said Jersey manager Jon Welsh. "But they've done everything they were instructed to do. They were an absolute credit."
Guernsey's boss Martyn de Garis said: "I'm gutted for the boys.
"They turned things around and had a very good go of it. I'm pleased with the way they played football, on a tricky surface, and that goes for both teams."
