Jersey won the under-21 Ambassadeur Bowl on penalties when they played Guernsey at the Track on Saturday.
Guernsey led 2-0 at halftime before Jersey levelled the score in the second half, with both sides battling strong winds in wet conditions.
Jersey edged out Guernsey in the penalty shoot out 5-4 to take the victory after goalless extra time in the annual clash.
Guernsey won 3-2 in normal time in the 2008 fixture, held in Jersey.
