Magpies are through to the quarter-finals of the EH Willis Memorial Trophy after a hard-fought 3-2 win over St John in the first round on Tuesday.
Magpies' goals were scored by Casey John, Matt Pamplin and Steve Cumming.
They will go onto play the winners of Wednesday's clash between St Peter Reserves and Portuguese Reserves in the last eight of the Trophy.
Beeches OB are also in the quarter-finals where they will play either St Lawrence or Jersey Wanderers Reserves.
