Tight security around the site slowed building work

Jersey's Commonwealth Games team have arrived in Delhi five days later than originally scheduled.

Jersey delayed their departure to India last week after their accommodation was deemed uninhabitable.

Archer Lucy Sullivan did not fly with the team on Tuesday because of illness, but is hoping to join the group later in the week.

Jersey will be represented in eight different sports at the games, with just over 30 competitors in the team.
