Ashford Town could face relegation to the Kent League unless they beat Chatham Town on Saturday.
A win will keep them in Ryman One South, but otherwise they will need rivals Walton Casuals to drop points against Leatherhead.
For manager Steve Lovell, it is the first time he has been involved in the relegation tussle on the final day.
"It's something you don't like but you've got to approach and face up to," he told BBC Radio Kent.
He added: You have to make sure everybody is connected on Saturday against Chatham and that we all go out together as a unit and give it our best shot."
The former Gillingham player admits it has been his toughest ever season in non-league football.
"It's been the worst I've known as a player, coach or manager," he said.
"The players that we've lost through injury have not just been out for one or two games, we've lost them for one or two months.
"The team has changed from week to week and there's been no continuity."
Other issues in Kent football to be decided include Tonbridge Angels' attempts to reach the Ryman Premier Division play-offs.
Their task is a tough one. They need to win at Aveley and hope Boreham Wood, Wealdstone and Hastings all drop points.
