Rushen United extend advantage to 11 points

Rushen United beat bottom side Union Mills 4-0 on Saturday to extend their advantage at the top of the Isle of Man Premier League to 11 points.

Goals from Tom Craine, Steve Riding and a double from Edward Pepper gave the southerners a comfortable win.

Meanwhile, Laxey took advantage of St Mary's and Peel not playing to move up to second.

A Nigel Beattie hat-trick and two goals from Lee Cowley gave the Miners an emphatic 5-0 win at Michael.

Elsewhere, St Georges beat Castletown 2-1 at Glencrutchery Road and Douglas High School Old Boys won 1-0 at Mullen-e-Cloie.
