The Jersey Football Association's youth team take on professional French football side Caen's youth at Springfield on Saturday.
Caen's senior side is currently top of the French League 2, the equivalent of the English Championship.
Chief Executive of the Jersey Football Association Paul Creedon believes it will be a good match.
"We are always looking for tough teams to push us further - Caen look like the right sort of team."
He added: "I'm delighted they're coming over, it gives our players a bench mark to judge their own ability, plus it's all for a good cause."
The match will be played in aid of a French charity that supports research in to diseases like muscular dystrophy.
The match kicks off at 1430 GMT at Springfield.
