Northerners continued their perfect start to the season with a fifth win in as many matches, despite shipping five goals against the Bels.

North scored seven goals of their own to claim victory - and have now gone three points clear at the top of the Senior County League Division One.

North's manager Mick Le Prevost said he felt the result was never in doubt.

"We were always in control and we thoroughly deserved our win," he told BBC Guernsey.

"We were 5-1 up and absolutely cruising, playing really good football and they scored two goals within five minutes.

"That put us back a little bit but they were bad mistakes on our behalf."
