Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson is expected to make his first pre-season appearance at Blue Square South side Bromley on Tuesday.
The club's 21-goal top-scorer last season has been missing up until now as he has been away on international duty with Canada in the Gold Cup.
Meanwhile, manager Mark Stimson faces an injury crisis with Dennis Oli, Stuart Lewis and Adam Miller all out.
Oli could be out for several weeks and Lewis may miss the start of the season.
Stimson told the club's website: "We'll probably start (at Bromley) with near enough the best team and might make a lot of changes at half-time.
"The boys will play 45 minutes because of the injury situation as every time we play we're dicing with it."
