Bell (l) has picked up seven trophies in 13 months
Harrogate Veterans survived a late penalty scare to complete a remarkable triple haul in the York Corinthians Cup final at Boroughbridge.
They beat Leeds Partizan 2-1 to add that cup to their local league, plus the national Umbro Veterans Masters Cup, which they won seven days earlier.
Manager Paul Bell told BBC Radio York: "Partizan got a penalty at the last moment but it struck the post.
"We were relieved, otherwise we'd have been rueing a lot of missed chances."
Bell felt they deserved to win the game, which finished in a deluge of rain at the Aldborough Road ground.
"To win the national one is just incredible, we've gone there two years running now and done it.
It's quality, and that doesn't go with age
Harrogate Veterans manager Paul Bell
"This is the second time we've done the league and cup double, we've done this last year. It's been very competitive this season and we've had to work hard for it.
"It's been a squad thing. We changed around six of the team today from last week and still put in a great performance which shows the quality we've got in the squad."
Harrogate Veterans won both the National over-40s and over-45s competitions last season in addition to the local league hauls, and Bell said: "These guys have done it all in local football, non-league football, and in some cases professionally, so it's quality, and that doesn't go with age.
"They're just not charging round the pitch to the same extent, but they've all got a passion for football. They love it, they love playing and they love winning."
