Jack Boyle will no longer be making his return on Jersey soil

Southampton have pulled out of a visit to Jersey so they can concentrate on their battle against relegation.

The Saints were due to visit Springfield later this month to play a pre-Muratti game against the Jersey Football Association.

The decision is a blow for the Jersey senior team who were going to use the game as preparation for the Guernsey match and the Island Games.

Southampton are currently second from bottom of the Championship.
