Leaders Trinity beat third-from-bottom Sporting Academics 5-2, with John Beatson and Mark Read both scoring two.
At Le Couvent Jersey Scottish beat second-from-bottom Rozel Rovers 7-1 with Paul Aitken and Ross Crick both getting hat-tricks.
St Paul's, in third, lost ground after their game at St Ouen was postponed.
The champions are now nine points off Trinity and four behind Scottish, although they have two games in hand on the leaders and one on the Scots.
In the day's other match St Peter cruised to victory over their near rivals Jersey Wanderers, returning from the Hockey Club with a 8-1 win.
Chris Conning scored four while Ryan Durand got two for the winners as they stay in fourth place. Wanderers stay routed to the bottom.
