Devlin says there are irreconcilable differences between him and Scottish

Champions St Paul's have finally completed the signing of defender Scott Devlin from rivals Jersey Scottish.

Scottish had refused to let the centre-back, who was Jersey's Player of the Year in 2006, leave for Saints.

But, at a Jersey Football Combination transfer tribunal on Tuesday, Devlin was able to show irreconcilable differences between him and the club.

Devlin had tried three times to sign for St Paul's this season, but each time Scottish appealed the transfer.
