Jersey Wanderers beat Rozel Rovers 2-1 in the preliminary round of the Wheway Cup on Tuesday night.
The scoreline reversed the result of Saturday's league clash, which saw Rovers claim their first win.
Stuart Brown's deflected 30-yard shot gave Wanderers the lead after 15 minutes and Jay Reid's penalty made it 2-0 20 minutes later.
Scott Healey hit back after 82 minutes, but Wanderers held out to book their place in the quarter-finals.
They will face either Jersey Scottish or St Peter in the last eight in December.
