Dartmouth threw away the chance to go clear at the top of the South West Peninsula League after losing their first game of the season at Launceston.
Andy Sargent's 65th minute penalty condemned the Darts to a 1-0 defeat.
It was a blow for Dartmouth as the top two sides, Ivybridge Town and Buckland Athletic, were both in cup action.
Ivybridge stay two points clear, whilst Torpoint Athletic moved up to fourth after a win at 1-0 Wadebridge Town thanks to a goal from Lewis Kershaw.

Falmouth Town remain the only side without a point after losing 3-0 at Saltash United - Danny Lewis, Marc Thorne and Gavin Coulton getting the goals.
The win moves Saltash up to fifth while the Cornish side stay rooted to the bottom of the table.
St Blazey move up to ninth after a 2-1 win at Liskeard Athletic, whilst Plymouth Parkway and champions Bodmin Town stay sixth and eighth respectively after the two sides drew 0-0 on Friday night.
