Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock says he hopes his players do not come away from Tuesday's draw at Bristol City thinking they have been beaten.
Argyle, who had won their previous three games, threw away an early two-goal lead at Ashton Gate when David Noble equalised in the 88th minute.
"We got battered in the second half," Sturrock told BBC Radio Devon.
"We were 2-0 up and I just hope and pray that they don't subconsciously take that as a defeat."
"You can take nothing away from Bristol City in the second half, they were very positive in their approach and really dictated where we were going to defend.
"I thought they were exceptional in the second half," he added.
