Portuguese Club are five points clear at the top of Jersey Football's Championship after most of the sides around them dropped points on Saturday.
Richard Russell hit four as Portuguese won 5-0 at St John.
St Clement moved up to second after being the only other side in the top half to win a game.
They won 6-2 at second-from-bottom St Lawrence. Matt Scriven scored two for the Eastern parish side as they went second on goal difference.
Beeches moved up to third after beating St Brelade 2-0 at the FB Fields.
Bob Bonney got both of Beeches' goals as they leapfrogged their opponents who dropped to sixth.
Nomads dropped to fourth after drawing 2-2 at home to third-from-bottom First Tower while Magpies moved up to fifth after a 3-1 win at bottom-of-the-table St Martin Sporting Club Francais.
