The final and both semi-finals went to penalties

Everton emerged as winners of the 2008 BWCI Mini Soccer Festival after beating Glasgow Rangers on spot-kicks.

Both teams had progressed to the final from the spot after both semi-finals had finished 0-0.

The teams included Guernsey's Sylvans, Vale Rec and Rovers as well as big names such as Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Academy Development Officer at Everton Football Club, John Doolan, said, "We've thoroughly enjoyed it, the two days have been absolutely brilliant."
