Jersey's Under-18s side let a two goal lead slip as they drew 2-2 with their Northern Ireland counterparts. John Borg gave the home team the lead on 35 minutes with a stunning 30-yard drive into the top corner.
Jay Reid doubled Jersey's advantage two minutes after the break, slotting home Fabio de Jesus' low right wing cross at the far post.
But Aaron Hare tapped in on 55 minutes, before Andrew Hall rounded keeper Max Jouan on 77 minutes to secure the draw.
Only four of the Irish side which started against Jersey's senior side began the match with the juniors, allowing the entire squad to have a run out.
Ninety fans turned up at Springfield to see the island juniors give another good account of themselves against the Ulstermen.
Jersey have yet to beat Northern Ireland at junior level, losing 3-0 at Springfield last year and going down 3-0 on penalties in 2005 after a 1-1 draw.
