Oxfordshire cricketer Keith Arnold has become the county's all-time record wicket taker. Figures of four for 72 on the first day of the Minor Counties Championship match at Wiltshire means he's broken a long standing record of 670 wickets. Arnold, who missed much of last season through injury, told BBC Oxford: "It's been going on and on and I very pleased that I finally broke the record. "I am very proud, but cricket is a team game." He added: "It's only come about because of help from other people." Arnold, 49, made his debut in 1979. For the record breaking dismissal he had the help of a team-mate who was not born until more than a decade later. "Jack Taylor, who's only 17, was on the boundary and I think he was quite relieved when he caught it!" he said. Arnold said that he had never seen David Laitt bowl, but feels his new record will be almost impossible to beat. "The game has changed, it's unlikely the record will be broken as there are only six games a year now. When I started there were ten. "
