Worcestershire's cricketers will face a trip across the Irish Sea in the group stages of the 2009 Friends Provident Trophy.

In addition to Ireland, the men from New Road will also face Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

The teams will play each other on a home and away basis, the top two then moving through to the quarter-finals.

The Friends Provident Trophy final is scheduled to take place at Lord's on Saturday 25 July.
