Stephen Moore has hit 10 first-class centuries for Worcestershire |
Essex have become the latest county to approach Worcestershire opener Stephen Moore with a view to signing him for next season. They are now the fifth county to show an interest in the opening batsman. Moore has told BBC Hereford and Worcester he does not want to leave New Road but he and his agent will certainly want to listen to any offers. Moore has scored almost 5,000 first class runs for Worcestershire and averages over 40. Derbyshire, Sussex, Glamorgan and Northants are also reported to have put in an approach for the player.
