Worcestershire have signed a deal with Kidderminster Victoria to enable them to use their ground at 48 hours notice.

It follows the problems last year when New Road suffered record floods and five games were moved to Kidderminster.

In return, the county club will invest 50,000 over five years in their ground at Chester Road.

Worcestershire chief executive Mark Newton said: "Our relationship with Kidderminster goes back many years and last summer they really helped us out."
